Bittersweet memories cloud my mind,
with feelings of apathy unconfined.

You were unkind, to leave me lined
with hatred so defined, and designed.

You robbed me emotionally blind,
in kind, you will find,
me too disinclined to remind
you of how undermined
I was when we were combined.

You were blinded by greed,
content just to watch me bleed.
I was there to fulfill your need,
yet you could never seem to concede..
You still seem to proceed,
guaranteed to mislead,
impede and exceed your creed..
Which is where I in turn, disagree.

I will not conform to you,
I have my own life to stick to.
You won't have me to constrict and subdue,
because a change in my life is far overdue.

Your hold on me is no more,
and everything you've done I shall ignore.
I hope you remember, I'm not there for you anymore,
and will never agree with what you stand for.
